How do the tax rates compare between the USA/Canada. I know Canada is higher, but how much higher???

you could argue that in average they are higher in Canada, but a few things are worth considering:
- Province: in Alberta the income tax is the lowest and tht VAT is only the GST, said that, if you spend 100% of your salary, you may end up saving about 10% of your salary in Taxes depending on where you live.
- Insurance: In canada you do not need to buy health insurance (if you are a resident/citizen), That is definitely a plus when compared to the USA.Anonymous 15 Set 2005, 08:36 - Denuncia
