Bank Accounts in Switzerland

• I am trying to open a bank account in Switzerland to have a regular payment paid in each month. Some banks wont consider you unless you have CHF50,000 to invest and others will open a current account but deduct 35% tax each month and only give interest of 0.875%.
  
  Would like to know if anyone can better this!

  how does it works to open a benk account
  in Schweiz ' Do they ask you a letter of
  reference as in Uk ?
