Teaching Spanish in Korea
-
   Hello,

I studied abroad in S. Korea and I love it. So, I want to go back and teach Spanish there. Spanish is my first language. I also speak English because I studied my career in the U.S.

Does anyone have any tips in how to find a job teaching Spanish in South Korea?

 Thanks so much!10 Sep 2007, 07:10 D. Amely

     Teaching English in KoreaHi All,

I have lived in Korea for some years studying an MBA. I can tell you that Spanish is linked to S.America, not popular region for business. However, there are a lot of people stuying Spanish in Seoul/Korea.
I would suggest you all to look for Universities with foreign languages: Korea Univ., University of foreign Studies (in Korean Ue guk Eo Dae Hakkyo); Seoul Nat'l Univesity; Yonsei, and a long etc.
 check: http://www.mit.edu/people/cdemello/kr.html
That might give you some tips.
 Good luck to you all.Alfonso Y. 26 Jan 2009, 11:32 - Report
