Trying to find work as a graphic designer / illustrator

• Hi to all of you,
  I'm a Dutch graphic designer and illustrator, and for the past year I have lived and worked in Ireland. My girfriend (an architect) and me are thinking of moving to Cyprus. Could anyone provide me with information? Are there any well-known work agencies that specialise in this specifick work-area? Is it difficult to find work as a freelance ilustrator / storyboard artist, or is it better to find a regular job as a graphic designer? Any suggestion is welcome, thanks in advance!
